Life?

((Questions)) nothing more then questions and ((Debates))

  • In depth thought about Life after Death.

I was having a nice conversation with my twin last night and we had brought up life after death. My brother is the exact opposite of me, Physically, Mentally, and Spiritually, but we have a deep respect for one another.

To add what I had said in my previous rambling is this.
When a person dreams they dream approximately anywhere between 15 seconds and 90 minutes..
But the person in the dream may say it was much longer than that.

So I had asked my brother this, and I shall ask all of you the same.

Me:  ”If we dream for about 5 to 30 minutes  (I looked up the real numbers today), and we only dream in the final hours of sleep, R.E.M, then if and when we die the moment we lose consciousness does our mind put us in a dream forever?”

Twin: “How would that make sense? When we die our brain shuts down, leaving us dead in a hole.”

Me: “You had said earlier that when a man’s head is chopped from his head that he is still conscious for a few moments, correct?”

    Twin: “Yes, and?”

Me: For you those few moments pass and go, but to the one about to die his mind may consider those few moments an infinite increase in time. Causing endless dreaming….or maybe even heaven?”

Twin: “Possibly, you would need to think about the variables.”

    Me: “I guess I should…So I will.”

So….I guess I want to figure this question out…..Anyone have any thoughts on it?
